The 2,200-acre park offers golfing, camping, picnicking, dining, hotel rooms, cabins and the Lake View Marina. You can even pack your boat and camp on one of the six islands on the lake with a permit. The world-famous Jack Daniel’s Distillery, just 10 miles away, offers tours with a lot of dining and shopping opportunities in Lynchburg.
Cast a line into Tims Ford for the great smallmouth bass fishing. You can also catch largemouth bass and crappie while enjoying the scenery of the rolling hills surrounding the lake. Just 30 minutes from us is Woods Reservoir, which is popular for bass and crappie. Normandy Lake, a smaller fishery, offers fishing for bass and crappie in a peaceful atmosphere. Just outside the Tims Ford Lake Area, you’ll discover the famed Lake Guntersville across the state line in northern Alabama. This means our dealership is 70 minutes from a lake that attracts bass anglers—and tournaments large and small—from across the nation. And for good reason—throughout most of the year, you can catch trophy bass a number of different ways.
On all the area lakes, cruising and watersports are popular family boating activities. Tubing, wakeboarding and skiing are great pastimes to enjoy during our long summers.
